Frika (September 10,2001 – January 29, 2018)

Frika (September 10, 2001 to January 29, 2018)

Frika joined our family when she was about 11 weeks old. The offspring of a female Icelandic Sheepdog and a small male terrier rescued from the streets of Prague. She was a tiny black bundle of energy.

Chasing the light from a laser pointer was her favourite pastime and, in her prime, she could outrun any dog in the park.

She was loving, full of fun, and very vocal which made her a great watchdog. Indeed, she went ballistic once when a homeless man wandered into the house.

Not all other dogs met with her approval but she never attacked anyone, human or canine. She loved having people over, treats (peanut butter and mini cinnamon buns especially) and being taken for walks.

Until her last few days she requested a walk every night at 10 pm

We all miss her very much.
There will never be another Frika.

Farewell, dear little friend.
