Life during the COVID-19 pandemic has required that we make some changes to the way we operate. Social distancing recommendations have meant necessary changes to the way we see appointments and to how we facilitate our client orders for food and medication. These changes meant a significant increase in call volume. In order to manage this volume and to ensure that our phone lines and personnel are accessible for medical emergencies, we have implemented new options for food orders and medication refill requests.
WEBSTORE (HOME DELIVERY ONLY)
Our online store offers a vast array of food, supplements and pet accessories available for purchase, including all the foods that we offer for in-clinic purchase. Delivery is a flat fee of $11.00 for virtually anywhere in Ontario. The website offers additional features that you may want to explore including discounts for signing up for the site’s auto-order option.
Click on the “REGISTER FOR OUR WEBSTORE” link below to get started. Look for the “New to myVETstore” text and click the Create New Account link below it. Complete the “Create an Account” form. We will receive an authorization request for approval for your account. You will generally receive an email indicating your account has been approved within a few hours. At this point you will be all set to order.

• Your pet’s name
• Preferred method of contact (email or phone)
• The food and quantity you would like to order
From the phone tree choose option 2. Leave a message with the above information.
We are generally able to respond within a few business hours to let you know when you can expect your order to be ready for pick up. Please note there has been a dramatic increase in product back orders and shipping delays and many items can take a week or more to arrive.
Refill requests can be sent via email:
- Your name (including the last name we have on file for your pet
- Your pet’s name
- The medication you are requesting a refill of
- Your contact information
From the phone tree choose option 3. Leave the above information in your message.
We are generally able to respond within a few business hours to advise if the veterinarian is able to authorize your request and when we expect it will be ready to pick up.
Please allow ample time for medication refills to be authorized and processed. Some prescriptions can take a week or more to arrive.
